Undergraduate Admission Rules for General
Eligibility Criteria for UG Programmes
(I) B.V.Sc. & A.H. ( 5 1/2 - year Programmes)
- The candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from an Indian Board/University recognized by Council of Boards of School Education with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC/ST, BC and DP categories) in aggregate excluding the optional subject(s) The students will have to submit a self undertaking as per Annexure X-B, for information of the board for their 10+2 class.
- Candidates securing equal to or more than the NEET(UG) - 2024 cut-off marks as per category, will be considered for admission. This cut-off may be reduced during subsequent counselling(s).
- Candidates seeking admission under Self-Financed category/Category-II/Special Management Quota will have to fulfill eligibility requirements of the General category (State Quota/Category-I) specified during the admission process. NEET (UG) -2024 cut-off marks for Self- Financed category/Category-II/Special Management Quota may be specified separately during the admission process
- Breaking of Tie in the Merit List: “One candidate one rank” criteria of NEET (UG) - 2024 Merit List will be followed.
(II) B.F.Sc. (4-year programme)
- The Candidate should have a minimum Qualification of 10+2 (Medical) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from an Indian Board/ University recognized by Council of Board of school Education with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, BC and DP categories) in aggregate excluding the optional subjects(s). The students will have to submit a self-undertaking as per Annexure X-B, for information of the Board for their 10+2 class.
(III) B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) (4-year programme)
- The Candidate should have a minimum Qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from an Indian Board/University recognized by Council of Board of School Education with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, BC and DP categories) in aggregate excluding the optional subjects(s). The students will have to submit a self-undertaking as per Annexure X-B, for information of the Board for their 10+2 class.
(IV) B.Tech. (Food Science & Technology) (4-year programme)
- The Candidate should have a minimum Qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English from an Indian Board/ University recognized by Council of Board of School Education with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, BC and DP categories) in aggregate excluding the optional subjects(s). The students will have to submit a self-undertaking as per Annexure X-B, for information of the Board for their 10+2 class.
(V) B.Tech. (Biotechnology) (4-year programme)
- The Candidate should have a minimum Qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and English from an Indian Board/ University recognized by Council of Board of school Education with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, BC and DP categories) in aggregate excluding the optional subjects(s). The students will have to submit a self-undertaking as per Annexure X-B, for information of the Board for their 10+2 class.
(Vi) B.Voc. (Bachelor of Vocation) (3-year programme)
- The Candidate should have a minimum Qualification of 10+2 or equivalent from an Indian Board recognized by Council of the Boards of School Education (COBSE)
