Diploma Admission Rules
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Diploma Programme
The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC and DP categories) combined in subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English excluding optional subjects, in 10+2 (Medical), passed from a Board recognized by Council of Boards of School Educaon (COBSE) in India.
The selection of candidates for admission to course will be made as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinaon (aggregate of marks of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2, excluding oponal subject).
Note:
- The Academic Council of the University is the supreme academic authority to frame rules and regulations, and to decide all other matters relating to admissions and academic affairs. The Academic Council also has the right to promote or discontinue any programme and also to increase or decrease seats in any programme, whatsoever.
- Diploma programme of the university is full time residential programme. A student, therefore, cannot study more than one programme at a time. The admission to the Diploma course shall be made by the Registrar, GADVASU on the recommendation made by the Chairman of the Selection Committee who reserves the right to cancel the admission before or during the diploma course obtained by misrepresentation/concealment of facts or admission made due to error or oversight etc.
