The NSS wing of College of Fisheries, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, organized first plantation drive with the theme of “Healthy Environment” in the campus of College of Fisheries. The said plantation drive was inaugurated by Dr. Asha Dhawan, Dean, College of Fisheries with an address on need of plantation to combat global warming and protecting environment. The event was supervised by Mr. Vijay Kumar Reddy. S, NSS-In charge, College of Fisheries with the support and guidance from Mrs. Nidhi Sharma, NSS Co-ordinater, GADVASU. The NSS volunteers from first and second year B.F.Sc. participated in the program actively and made it successful. The faculty and field staff of the college also participated in the event enthusiastically. In the series of plantation programs, the next plantation drive will be organized at College of Fisheries, in the month of March, 2016.
