Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is providing various facilities to the livestock farmers, pet owners and poultry farmers. The administrative council of GADVASU has taken a decision to extend timings of the post mortem examination facilities and consultancy to the visiting farmers. Dr. Harish Kumar Verma, Director of Extension Education said that the Post mortem examination of large animals (Cow, Buffalo, Horse etc), small animals (Dogs and Cats) including poultry and pet birds will be done on all week days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while on weekends (Saturdays/ Sundays), the timings will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The faculty members of the department of Veterinary Pathology will perform the post-mortem duty and offer consultation as and when required. The desirous farmers, pet owners and poultry farmers can avail this facility.
