4th Youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary &Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana today witnessed, Clay Modeling, Photography, Collage Making, Rangoli Making and Installation Competition. Dr. Darshan Singh Barhi organizing secretary of festival said that topics for Clay Modeling ‘Punjabi Culture’, ‘Fighting’, and ‘Affection’. In Photography Competition topics were ‘Old is Gold’, and ‘Living Crowd’. For Collage Making topics were ‘Any festival’, ‘Fashion in Modern Life’ and Save wild life’. For Rangloi Making these were ‘Diwali’, ‘Greh Parvesh’ and ‘Floral Design’. Dr. R.S. Sahota, Director of Extension Education was chief guest for the morning session whereas Dr. S.N.S. Randhawa, Director Research was Chief Guest for the Afternoon session.

In all the competitions three colleges of university named College of Veterinary Science, College of Dairy Science and Technology, College of Fisheries, School of Animal Biotechnology participated alongwith affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterniary and Animal Sciences Amritsar and Veterinary Polytechnic, kaljharani. He said that Debate, Creative Writing, Elocution, Extempore, Poetic Recitation and Haas-Ras Poem Competition will be held on 07.10.2013 at Student Home, Punjab Agricultural University.
