Guru Angad Dev and Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) conducted the Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.V.Sc. & A. H., B.F.Sc. and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) programmes. A total of 2575 candidates applied for admission to these courses, out of which 2252 candidates (1375 boys and 877 girls) appeared in the entrance test and this figure has increased as compared to previous years due to enhanced employment opportunities in veterinary, dairy and fisheries courses. Registrar GADVASU, Dr P. D. Juyal informed that during examination a group of parents outside an examination centre agitated and questioned the separate seating arrangement of 83 students in the Examination Hall of College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU. While for those candidates who have applied for a single course, the seating arrangement was made in both the schools and the paper was of three hours duration.” This was the best possible seating arrangement for conduction of entrance test said the Registrar.
