Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) - GADVASU on 26th June, 2013. Dr. P.D. Juyal, Registrar GADVASU informed that to expedite the process, the roll number/admit cards have been dispatched to all the candidates. The candidates are advised to consult the website of the University (www.gadvasu.in). A total of 1540 candidates will appear in the CET-GADVASU at R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School, 952 candidates at B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, both the schools near Model Town, Ludhiana. 83 candidates will appear at Examination Hall, College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana. All the arrangements for the entrance examination have been completed and a suitable number of faculty members and employees have been deployed for smooth conduct of entrance examination.
Dr. Sushil Prabhakar, Controller of Examinations, GADVASU informed that a total of 2575 candidates will be appearing in the entrance test. The number of applicants to the courses of Veterinary Science, Fisheries and Dairy Technology being offered by GADVASU, has increased tremendously as compared to the last year due to increasing interest and enhanced employment opportunities in these areas.
Dr. V.K. Taneja, Vice-Chancellor, has extended his best wishes to the all aspiring candidates going to appear in the CET-GADVASU. First counsellings for B.V.Sc & A.H./B.F.Sc are scheduled to be held on July 23 and for B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) it will be 24th July in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU.
