Dr Sarnarinder Singh Randhawa, presently working as Dean Postgraduate Studies will now be Director of Research. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research and extension. He remained Head of Department of Veterinary Medicine and Clinical Veterinary Medicine for 5½ years. He has published 208 original research papers in Journals of National & International repute, 63 extension articles and more than 46 keynote/lead papers. He was member of the Research Advisory Committee of CSWRI, Avikanagar, Rajasthan for three years and General Secretary of Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine for 4 years. He has won many National awards and was elected fellow of 5 Academies and Scientific societies, 2 awards from ICAR, 5 Gold Medals from National Scientific societies. He had visited many countries like Brazil, USA, UK, Germany, France and Italy to present research papers and have interaction on latest advances in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Kulbir Singh Sandhu Presently working as DSW cum EO with additional charge of Director of Extension Education will now be regular Director of Extension Education. As DSW cum EO he has a number of achievements to facilitate the students of GADVASU. He has been awarded a number of honors including Milton Travel Scholarship by university of Guelph, Canada and Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship. He has published a number of important research publications in the national and international journals. In the field of research he has been established State-of-the- Art Clinical Microbiology Lab in Deptt. Of Epidemiology & Prevent Vety. Medicine. He has standardized different serological tests for diagnosis of bovine and human brucellosis and to different the infected and vaccinal titre.
