Dr. V.K.Taneja, Vice Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinaray and Animal Sciences University hoisted the new university website replacing the old one under the domain name www.gadvasu.in. He said that the University website has been totally restructured keeping in view of the constitution of new colleges, institutes and school of animal biotechnology and need for adding many new features. Dr. P.K.Trehan, Ex- Librarian GADVASU who designed the new University website said that the website has several new features. Helpline for the farmer’s which contains useful articles, tips, activities of the months, selected books, training programmes and contact numbers for the livestock producers is an important feature of this website. Another important feature of this website is Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the university and facilities provided by the university. FAQ’s have also been prepared for various disciplines related to Veterinary and Animal Science, Dairy, Meat and Egg technology and Fisheries. Website also features photo gallery, Directory, Useful links, Web mail, Intranet, Placement Cell, RTI, Downloads, Banner display, Notice Board, News.
