Four Vet Varsity post graduate students excelled in academics

September 19 Expiring at: May 10

 Four post graduate students, who recently completed their Postgraduate Degree (M.V.Sc) in the Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, have  joined as Assistant Professors in different veterinary universities of India. Dr. Shivkumar has joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Complex, Veterinary College, Gadag, Karrataka. He had worked on “Effects of Herbal Treatment on Semen Quality and Fertility of Buffalo Bulls” under the supervision of Dr Ajeet Kumar, Associate Professor. Dr. Sagar Lochan B has joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Complex, Veterinary College, Bangalore. He had worked on “Effect of Melatonin Implant on Oxidative Stress and Fertility in Postpartum Buffalo” under the guidance of Dr M Honparkhe, Gynaecologist. Dr. Muddarangaiah M.R joined as an Assistant Professor, Dept of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. He had worked on “Association of Melatonin Receptor 1A Gene Polymorphism with Seasonal Suppression of Fertility in Buffalo” under the supervision of Dr SPS Ghuman, Professor. Dr. Harmeet Singh Sandhu has joined as joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Amritsar. He had worked on “Ovarian and Fertility Responses Following Estradiol Based Modified Synchronization Protocol in Buffaloes” under the guidance of Dr. S S Dhindsa, Assistant Professor. Dr Prahlad Singh, Professor cum Head, Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, congratulated the advisors and the former students for their future endeavors and told that they will be the flag bearers of our university.
