Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Booh, Tarn Taran, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University organised 5 days Vocational Training Programme on “Insight different techniques of embroidery" at village Booh Hathar. Course Director, Dr. Balwinder Kumar, Deputy Director (Training), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tarn Taran inaugurated the training programme and stressed upon skill development in the field of embroidery where farm women and girls from village can learn about various aspects related to different technique of embroidery. Farm women can earn money and up lift their living status after starting the work of embroidery and can form self-help group. Mrs. Piverjit Kaur, Assistant Professor, (Home Science) delivered lectures to the trainee about different methods of embroidery. The selection of different threads, color and other material for making the embroidery were discussed. At the end of training programme, certificates were distributed to the trainees. Farm women expressed their gratitude to the faculty members and staffs of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tarn Taran for organising the training programme.
