6th Youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University was inaugurated by Dr Amarjit Singh Nanda, Vice-Chancellor of Varsity. Dr Nanda said that these types of extra mural activities are important and essential part of our education system for holistic growth of youth. He said that it is a positive manner to channelize the energy of youngsters. The day was of formal inauguration of Song, Dance and Theatrical events. He inaugurated the fest at open air theatre of PAU. Dr. Nanda said that these movements will remain long lasting and cherished memories of youth.
Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Sangha, DSW and Convener of youth festival said that students are very excited for participation in youth festival. It is valuable time which shows the multi dimensions of life through art, culture and literature. All the three colleges at campus along with Vety Polytechnic Kaljharani and Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar participated.
