Cadets and Staff of 1 Pb R & V SQN NCC planted around 150 saplings at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University in the NCC Unit Premises to make the surroundings of the Unit greener and healthier. The plantation drive was done under the able guidance of Lt. Col. Tushar Upasani, Officer Commanding of the Unit and in the presence of Lt. Dr. Nittin Dev Singh and Dr. P.P. Dubey alongwith the staff of the unit. The students of GADVASU were enlightened about the importance of tree plantation and its good effects on environment. They were told that only plantation is not important but more important was that all the students should take care of the saplings they are planting so that the sapling grows into a healthy tree. It was further advised that not only on special plantation drives, but, in our day to day life also one should plant trees and should keep environment safe by decreasing pollution be it Air Pollution, Noise pollution etc. A sense of satisfaction was seen on the faces of all the cadets after the tree plantation.
