Cadets and Staff of 1 Pb R & V SQN NCC planted around 20 saplings on June 5, 2015 in the Unit Premises of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University to mark the World Environment day.. The plantation drive was done under the able guidance of Lt. Col. Tushar Upasani, Officer Commanding of the Unit. He emphasized on the importance of keeping the environment safe and how a safe and clean environment can help in maintaining good health. Cadets and staff were told to personally take care of the saplings planted by them and make sure that it grows into a mature plant which will give immense satisfaction to them. It was advised that not only to mark World environment day, but, otherwise also in our day today life one should plant trees and should keep environment safe by decreasing pollution be it Air Pollution, Noise pollution etc.
