Application are invited from the farmers/small entrepreneurs/members of Shelf Help Group/ other interested persons for the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on “Hygienic processing and Value Addition of Meat and Meat products for Employment Generation and Women Empowerment” from 29th Dec. 2014 to 24th Jan 2015 organized by Department of Livestock Products Technology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, Punjab.
Numbers of trainees are restricted to 30 with reservation to SC/ST/Women and minority candidates.
Minimum qualification is 10+2. However the candidates having higher qualifications will be given priority.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and No Fee will be charged. Chargeable stay arrangement is available in GADVASU’s Farmer’s Hostel. Hands-on-Training on Preparation of wholesale and retail cuts.
Hands-on-Training on Preparation of various value added meat products such as meat balls/koftas, meat patties, sausages, pickle, meat wadi, meat cutlets etc.
Hands-on-Training on Packaging and preservation of the meat products.
Visits to meat processing units.
