Guru Angad Dev and Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science. and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) programmes. Dr. Sushil Prabhakar, Controller of Examinations revealed that a total of 2710 candidates applied for admission to these courses out of which 2456 candidates (1526 boys and 930 girls) 91% appeared in the entrance test in three centers at R.S. Model Senior Secondary School, B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar and B.V.M. Sr. Sec. School, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana.
Vice-Chancellor, Dr. V.K. Taneja had the first hand information about the arrangements for conduction of entrance test and visited three centers. It was informed by the Registrar Dr. P.D. Juyal that the first counseling for B.V.Sc & A.H./B.F.Sc and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) are scheduled to be held on July 22 and 23 respectively in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU. He revealed that test was conducted for 62 seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. 20 of B.F.Sc(Bachelor of Fisheries Science) and 27 of B.Tech. (Dairy Sc.Technology).The CET-GADVASU result will be declared within 2-3 days and be available on university website www.gadvasu.in and university notice boards also.
