Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET – GADVASU) on 19th June, 2014 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. A total of 2523 candidates with medical background and265 candidates with non-medical background have applied for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc. and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) respectively. Dr. P.D. Juyal, Registrar GADVASU informed that to expedite the process, the roll number/admit cards have been dispatched to all the eligible candidates. Candidates, if do not receive admit cards, can obtain duplicate admit cards on the days mentioned in the prospectus 2014. A total of 1522 candidates will appear in the CET-GADVASU at R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School, 700 candidates at B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar both the schools in Model Town, Ludhiana and 489 candidates at B.V.M. Sr. Sec. School, Udhamm Singh Nagar, Ludhiana. Candidates are required to reach the designated examination centre as mentioned on the Admit Card at 9.00 am sharp on 19th June, 2014. Candidates eligible to appear in the CET simultaneously for B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc. and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) will be given extra one hour for attempting only the additional Mathematics test. All the arrangements for the entrance examination have been completed and a large number of faculty members and employees have been deployed as Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, Centre Coordinators, Centre Superintendents, Supervisors, Invigilators, etc, for smooth conduct of the CET-GADVASU. Dr. V.K. Taneja, Vice-Chancellor, has extended his best wishes to all the aspiring candidates going to appear in the CET-GADVASU. First counsellings for B.V.Sc & A.H./B.F.Sc and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) are scheduled to be held on July 22 and 23 respectively in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU.
