Recipients of different sports prizes in sports festival of non-teaching employees of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University were awarded in a specially organized function. President of non-teaching employees union told that Dr. V.K. Taneja, vice chancellor presided over the function and gave away the prizes. Dr. P.D.Juyal, Registrar and Dr. S.P.S. Sangha, DSW cum EO also graced the occasion.
Asha Rani adjudged best athlete above 45 year age group and Manju Bala best athlete below 45 year women group. Amar Singh adjudged best athlete above 45 year and Chandan below 45 in men category. Other players Daya Rani, Pramjeet Kaur, Anju, Anjana, Sonika, Sukhdev Singh, Jagtar Singh, Hukum Chand and Randhir Singh bagged prizes in different events. Kamal Kartar, Satnam, Harvinder, Ravneet and Gurvinder performed in different cultural and musical activities to give a memorable touch to function.
