Goat farmers association releases calendar 2014

Dr. M.P. Gupta, Coordinator of the Association advised the farmers to start goat farming due to profitable marketing of goat milk and meat these days. He advised the farmers to attend the lectures delivered by the experts regularly in respect of feeding, breeding, nutrition, management, prevention of diseases, vaccination of sheep and goat and medicinal value of the goat milk in the monthly meeting of the association. In addition, any farmer can register his name for getting one week goat farmer training course at phone no. 0161-2414005. The goat farmers are advised to vaccinate sheep and goat against PPR, foot and mouth disease, enterotoxemia and sheep pox from the nearest civil veterinary hospital.
