Department of Surgery and Radiology in collaboration with Deptt of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana organized a week long in service training programme on “Hands on Training on Radiology” for Surgical Specialists of Animal Husbandry Department, Punjab. Dr N S Saini HOD Department of Surgery and Radiology told that sixteen participants were trained on positioning, developing, interpretation and diagnosis of various anomalies in animals using X ray. Dr J S Bhatti HOD Deptt of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education told that all the participants who underwent this training were highly appreciative of the course structure, the state of art facility and the high quality of training imparted during the programme. Dr R S Sahota, Director Extension Education added that university continuously organizing training programmes on various aspects of livestock production as well as treatment or diagnosis and also tailor made training programmes as per demand.
