The annual prize distribution function of non-teaching employees’ union of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was held today. Dr. V. K. Taneja, Vice-Chancellor, GADVASU was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Dr. S. P. S. Sangha, DSW-cum-EO and the Registrar, GADVASU were the guest of honour. S. Rajinder Singh, President of the employees union welcomed Dr. Taneja, Dr Juyal and Dr Sangha. Mr Chandan from men and Ms Anu Kumari from women were declared best athletes. Prizes were distributed to the winners by Dr Taneja, Dr Sangha and Dr Juyal and they were advised to do more hard work, in future, to excel in their respective fields. While addressing, Dr Taneja said that sports improve the health and confidence of employees and promote good habits and inculcate better values in a person. Didar Singh, Sukhminder Singh, Tarlok Singh, Dilchain Singh and Satinder Kumar, all executive members, were present on this occasion. At the end, all participants and officers of the university were thanked by the President, S. Rajinder Singh.
