Bhog of Sri Akhand path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was solmenised at Guru Anagd Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University In connection with the Parkash Purb of Guru Angad Dev ji. Community langar was served after the bhog. It is pertinent to mention that the veterinary university was established in year 2006 on the name of second guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji. Guru ji was the thorough animal lover and a number of sick and injured animals got treatment in his personal care. Dr. Darshan singh Bari welfare officer of varsity revealed that Jatha of Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi recited the soulful kirtan of holy Shabads. A year calendar dedicated to Guru Angad Dev Ji was also released by Dr. V.K.Taneja Vice Chancellor of University. Framed pictures of Guru Angad Dev Ji were also released to institute in the buildings and main offices of university. These Pictures were presented to all the officers of Varsity. Dr. S.P.S. Sangha, Director Students Welfare said that this was a joint effort of employees, teachers and students of university who contributed their services with tan man and dhan in the akhand path. On this occasion a large number of devotees from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, PAU and outsiders from campus paid their respect.
