eek long inter college youth Festival of Vet. Varstiy concludes with a note of gaiety. Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon Vice Chancellor PAU was Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Dr. V. K. Taneja Presided over the Function. Youth Festival was started on 29th oct. onward under the able guidance of Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Sangha DSW Cum EO of GADVASU.
Renowned Punjabi Singer Sarbjit Cheema and Veer Sukhwant also performed in the youth festival.
Dr. Charan Kanwal Singh organizing secretary said that there was competition of about 36 events.about 200 students participated in this youth festival. Three in Campus Colleges, College of Fisheries, College of Veterinary Science, College of Dairy Science and Technology Participated alongwith School of Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Polytechnic College Kaljharani, Bathinda, and Khalsa Coillege of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar. Renowned singer Baljit Malwa exhibited his talent yesterday and created musical environment. Students pageant their art in different fields like Fine Arts, Theatre, Singing, Dances and Literary events.
A number of important dignitaries attended the function. Students of Both the universities were in cheerful mood to attend the function. Teachers, employees and officers of GADVASU were present in good number for ceremonial treat. The results of yesterday‘s events are as under under:
