To teach the skills of folk dances, a training camp is planned from first week of April 2017 at college of veterinary science of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. The information was shared by Dr.Darshan Singh Barri, welfare officer of varsity. He said that camp will be open for teachers, students, employees or citizen from any walk of life. An identity proof is mandatory for the person who wants to register her/his name for camp. The timings of the camp will be 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. daily. He said that, coach and drummer will be available for trainees. To meet the expenses of musician’s, nominal fee will be charged he added. Dr Barri said that camp was started with persuasion from Dr Amarjit Singh Nanda, Vice-Chancellor. Dr Satyavan Rampal, DSW cum EO appreciated the effort. Dr Barri said that the interested persons may register their name with two photographs at the office of welfare officer upto 31st march.
