Dr. Ramneek, Dean retires from the Vet Varsity

Dr. Ramneek, Dean, College of Dairy & Food Science Technology superannuated from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. He served the university for more than 32 years.
Dr. Ramneek did Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (1986), MVSc in Bacteriology & Virology (1990) from College of Veterinary Science, PAU. He started his professional career as Assistant Scientist at PAU. He pursued PhD under New Zealand overseas development association scholarship from Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand in 1999.
He served as Director, School of Animal Biotechnology from 2013 to 2019. He was instrumental in the establishment of the School of Animal Biotechnology. He also served as Dean, College of Animal Biotechnology and later on retired as Dean, College of Dairy & Food Science Technology.
In an impressive farewell function Dr. J.P.S. Gill Vice chancellor while applauding the contributions of Dr Ramneek to the university highlighted Dr. Ramneek’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education and research. “Dr. Ramneek has not only been a mentor but a guiding light for many of us. His vision and leadership have propelled this institute to new heights,” Dr. Gill remarked.
All the Deans and Directors of Varsity shared heartfelt anecdotes and expressed their gratitude for Dr. Ramneek’s collaborative spirit and lasting influence on their careers.
In a moving speech, Dr. Ramneek thanked everyone for their kind words and support throughout his tenure. “It has been an honor to work alongside such talented individuals and to contribute to the growth of our institute. I am deeply grateful for the friendships I’ve built and the experiences I’ve had, he added.
The farewell ceremony was concluded by presenting mementos as token of affection
