In a moment of great pride and achievement, College of Dairy Science and Technology, (CODST) Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana has witnessed a surge in the selection of its students for government job positions. Dr. R.S. Sethi, Dean, CODST informed that 23 pass out students of CODST got selected for the post of Dairy Development Inspector Grade II in Dairy Development Department, Punjab. The selection has been made by Subordinate Selection Service Board, Punjab that evaluates candidates based on their qualifications, skills, and performance in written test. A total of 71 candidates from different institutions and states appeared for the selection of 25 posts.
Dr. Sethi shared that the college is dedicated to produce trained dairy graduates and postgraduates through its B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes. The institute's commitment to academic excellence, coupled with comprehensive skill development programs, has played a significant role in shaping students' careers and preparing them for successful journeys in Govt and private sector.
Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, GADVASU applauded the achievement of the alumni of the College of Dairy Science and Technology in the government sector placements which reflects the quality of education and the institute's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
