11th Youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana started with knowledge transfer and fine arts events. Dr. Satyavan Rampal inaugurated the off stage phase of the youth festival. 
Dr. H.S. Banga, Registrar was the guest of honor in the first session of soft skills competitions whereas Dr. Y.P.S. Malik was guest of honor in the Quiz competition session. On the occasion Dr. Satyavan Rampal, Director Students' Welfare said that youth festivals are an appropriate medium of internal expression of students. We are providing good facilities to students to improve their performance. Participants were also in high spirits. Dr. A.P.S. Brar Organizing Secretary of the festival said that in the first day competitions, there were four events: Photography, Quiz, Cartooning and Poster Making. Total 12 students participated in the Photography competition, 18 in Quiz, 12 students in Cartooning and 13 in Poster Making.
The topic of Poster Making was ‘Save Life’ The Subject for the Photography competition was ‘Light and Shade with Green ', for Cartooning, the topic was ‘Karva Chauth, College Campus and Canteen’, for On the Spot Painting it was open for any visible nature scene in front of you
College of Veterinary Science, College of Dairy Science and Technology, College of Fisheries, College of Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Science College, Rampura Phul (Bathinda), Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani participated along with affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar in these events.Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Welfare Officer GADVASU said that Collage making (10.00 a.m.), Clay Modeling (02.00 p.m.) will be held on 14th October 2022 at Examination Hall of College of Veterinary Science whereas Elocution and Poetry competitions at Silver Jubilee auditorium at 02.00 p.m..
