Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana GADVASU, is going to organise Youth Festival from 13th October 2022. The whole show will be organized from 13th Oct. to 20th Oct. in two phases. While disseminating this information Dr. Satyavan Rampal, Director Students’ welfare said that we are conducting youth festival after a gap of three years due to corona restrictions. Students are very cheerful and enthusiastic for the preparation of their events. He informed that our students hold a winning record in different extra-curricular activities at all India Agricultural & Veterinary Inter University fests in the past. They have won a number of prizes and trophies in these events. The fest will be the springboard for students to achieve the new heights. Dr. Rampal informed that to streamline all the functioning, committees have been formed and duties are allocated.
Dr. APS Brar, Organizing Secretary informed that in the first phase Photography, Quiz, Cartooning and Poster Making competitions will be on 13th Oct. Collage making, Clay Modeling, Elocution and Poetry on 14th Oct. Rangoli Making, Installation and On the Spot Painting competitions will be on 15th Oct. Creative Writing, Extempore and Debate on 16th Oct. In the second phase formal Inauguration, Folk Songs, Creative Dance (solo) Light Vocal and Group Songs (Indian) on 18th Oct. Theater events like Mime, Skit, Mimicry and One Act Play on 19th Oct. On the final day of the fest on 20th Oct. Group Folk Dance (Male/Female) will be staged. He said that these festivals develop cordial relations in students whereas it help to build confidence in them. Prize distribution will be also on the concluding day. The entire fest will be conducted according to the notified rules of inter University competitions.
Dr. Rampal hoped that the festival will deliver healthy, cheerful and colourful impressions to all the participants and spectators.
