ong foundation day celebrations of College of Animal Biotechnology (COABT), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana reached its mid stage level. Dr Yashpal Singh Malik, Dean & Chairman of the festival, informed that the celebrations of the foundation day are going in full swing. Dr Malik, said that students, faculty and other staff members of college are participating in event with lot of enthusiasm. Dr R S Sethi, Co- chairman of th
e event informed that students have out shined than the previous year in the different categories of events. Dr. Simrinder Singh Sodhi, Organizing Secretary of the event said during first three days of festival, competitions for cartooning, rangoli making, clay modelling and photography events were held. Dr Sodhi, added that this time even faculty members of the college participated in different events. Panel of judges for the events included, Dr Sucheta Sharma, PAU, Dr Varinder Uppal, GADVASU and Mrs Sangeeta Malik. The photography session was judged by Sh Janmeja Singh Johal, Dr Maan Singh Toor, PAU and Sh Gurpreet Singh, Chief Photographer, Hindustan Times. Dr Satparkash Singh, joint organizing secretary of the event informed that on the final day prize distribution will be conducted. The cultural eve will be fusion of poetry, singing and folk dances.
