Admissions to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H) program at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana during the academic session 2020-21 will be made on the merit-based on the marks obtained in NEET (UG)-2020 to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 3rd May 2020. Candidates interested in admission in College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana, College of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul and Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar are required to register themselves for NEET (UG)-2020, informed Dr. Sushil Prabhakar, Registrar of the University.
He revealed that the NTA has already announced the NEET notice on its website, the registration for which is open from 02.12.2019 till 31.12.2019. The marks obtained by the candidates in NEET (UG)-2020 shall be the criteria for admission in GADVASU Veterinary Colleges for the residents of Punjab only. The NRI candidates and those recommended by the Veterinary Council of India will be admitted as per the existing policy of the university.
Dr. Prabhakar further informed that all the candidates seeking admission in the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programs of the GADVASU Colleges will be required to apply additionally to GADVASU for which the application form and the university prospectus consisting of other details will be available after March 2020. The candidates who do not apply online additionally to GADVASU will not be considered for admission even if they stand high in the merit of NEET (UG)-2020.
