Dr. Balwinder Kumar (Deputy Director, Training) Krishi Vigyan Kendra,
Tarn Taran and Dr. Y S Jadoun (Assistant Professor) Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana recently attended the National Seminar on Doubling Income through Sustainable and Holistic Agriculture(DISHA-2019) organized by Society for the Advancement of Human and Nature (SADHNA) at Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry Nauni, Solan Himachal Pradesh, India. Around 250 delegates from different states across country participated in this seminar.
Society for the Advancement of Human and Nature awarded Dr. Balwinder Kumar with 
Paramount Achievement Award, Plaque, Citation and Cash Prize in recognition in the field of farming/agriculture and allied fields for exemplary work and contribution made by him. He is also included in the Permanent Honorary Board of the Society.
Dr. Jadoun awarded with Young Achiever Award, Plaque and Citation for the year 2018 to the outstanding contribution made by him in the field of Veterinary/Livestock Extension Education. He is also awarded with the life member of the honorary board as well as of the society. Both the scientist made their oral presentation during the seminar in their respective session.
