Objective
The objective is to impart a hands-on training for 5 days covering practical aspects of Animal Nutrition. The training will include lectures and practicals on various aspects of feeding the nutritional supplements. The broad areas of training will include:
1. Role of Fodder in animal production with demonstration on conservation of forages.
2. Role of minerals in animals with demonstration on preparation of Mineral Mixture and Urea Molasses mineral Block
3. Urea utilization in ruminants with demonstration on Natural Fermentation Technology of straws and stovers.
4. Role of Bypass nutrients in ruminants with demonstration of preparation of By-Pass-Fat and By-Pass-Protein.
5. Formulation of rations for different categories of dairy animals.
Duration: Five days training starting from 19th Feb – 23rd Feb, 2018
Course Fees: Rs. 3000/- (Rs Three thousands only) payable at the time of registration in the office of the Department.
Lodging and Boarding: Boarding facility on payment basis shall be available in the University Scientist Hostel.
Number of Participants: The maximum number of participants shall be 20.
Participants and Eligibility: Course is open for all Farmers/ Entrepreneurs

TA & DA of the participants will be borne by participants/sponsoring institutions/ organizations.
The participants will be selected on ‘first come first serve’ basis.
