In recently concluded different National conferences Dr. Balwinder Kumar, Deputy Director (Training), Mr. Navjot Singh, Assistant Professor (Agronomy) 
and Dr. Anil Kumar, Assistant Professor (Soil Science) from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Tarn Taran conferred with various awards. Dr. Balwinder Kumar conferred with “Excellence in Communication Award”, whereas Navjot Singh got “Young Scientist Award’, at International Conference on “Global Research Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture & Allied Sciences,” held at Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, 
Rajasthan. The award was bestowed upon the scientists for their immense contribution in the field of agriculture, livestock Extension Education and Agronomy. Dr. RS Kureel, Director (NB), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Govt. of India, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi; Dr. US Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MPUA&T, Udaipur; Dr. AK Singh, Vice Chancellor, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar; Dr. IS Solanki, ADG (FFC), ICAR, New Delhi, Dr. PK Agarwal ADG (NFBSFARA), ICAR, New Delhi and Dr. Randhir Singh, ADG (Agricultural Extension) presented award to the scientists. Dr. Balwinder Kumar also acted as co chairman in the technical session at this conference. In another National Conference “Improving income of farmers through agriculture and aquaculture through development interventions” held at ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Dr. Anil Kumar also conferred “Young Scientist Award” for his contribution in the field of Soil Science. The award was presented to him by Dr. WS Dhillon, ADG (Horticulture), ICAR, New Delhi and Director, ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Dr. HK Verma, Director Extension Education, GADVASU, Ludhiana congratulated the scientists for these awards.
