Cadets and Staff of 1 Pb Remount & Veterinary SQN NCC celebrated International youth day in the unit 
premises at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth. The event was organized and conducted under the guidance of Lt. Col. Tushar Upasani, Officer Commanding of the Unit. Lt. Dr. Nittin Dev Singh, Associate Ncc Officer and Dr. P.P. Dubey, Care Taker Officer along with the Instructor staff of the unit. The theme of the 2016 International Youth Day is “The Road to 2030: Eradicating Poverty and Achieving Sustainable Consumption and Production”.
On the event Dr Dubey presented a speech on the rights of the youth to have full access to education, adequate healthcare, employment opportunities, financial services and full participation in public life. He also mentioned that youth has the full potential to shape the future of a nation by getting the guidelines from the previous generations in key issues of political, social and cultural arena. This inculcates regular revolutions in values and ideas. Lt. Dr. Nittin Dev Singh motivated all the cadets to build their carrier for nation development. He said that youth should come forward to improve the present scenario for a better future. Dr Nitin encouraged students to focus on any issue of social, environmental or educational to work on.
