All the arrangements have been made to organize the 9th Athletic Meet of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University Ludhiana. This information was shared by Dr. SPS Sangha Director Student’s welfare GADVASU. While informing about the event he said that Dr. AS Nanda, Vice Chancellor GADVASU will inaugurate the meet on 12th of March 2015, at 9.30 A.M. at Punjab Agricultural University Track.
Dr. PN Dwivedi, organizing secretary of the Athletic Meet informed that after emancipation of the University students are doing well in sports & Co curricular activities from the very first day. Now the University is completing its ninth year and we are organizing 9th Athletic Meet also. He said that in campus colleges of university named college of veterinary science, College of Fisheries and College of Dairy Science & Technology will participate along with veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani (Bathinda) and Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar. The numbers of the sports persons are increasing every year as well as quality of sports also.
Dr. AS Nanda Vice Chancellor extended his best wishes for the participants. He hoped that the students of GADVASU will win laurels for University and nation in the field of education as well as sports also.
