Vet Varsity Students Clinches Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at intervarsity sports meet

              A 45 member’s contingent of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, participated in 14th All India Inter Agricultural University Sports meet held at Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries University, Bidar, (KVAFSU).GADVASU Sports contingent participated in Table Tennis (M), Badminton (M&W), Athletics (M&W) and Basketball (M&W).

The Table Tennis (M) team comprised of Gaurav Sharma, Gurwinder Singh, Guransh Preet Singh, Shubam Sharma bagged Gold medal in the meet.
The Basketball (W) team comprised of Rubal, Rohini Bhardwaj, Ramneet Kaur, Gulgul Singh, Jaanesh M Kaur, Navneet Kaur, Taranjot Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, Karandeep Kaur Mann, Priyanka Rana Clinced the Gold medal during the event. The Basketball (M) team comprised of Adish Balouria, Mukhmeet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Parampartap Singh, Satinder Pal Singh, Amanjot Brar, Harankit Singh Hundal, Meharans Singh Hundal, Angad Nanda, Avtar Singh Brar, Hirdeypal Singh, Shaandeep Singh got silver medal during the completion.
A relay team of Girls comprised of got bronze medal in 4x100 M. Relay. Ramneet Kaur, Priyanka Rana, Karanpreet Kaur, Rubal, Rohini Bhardwaj, Karandeep Kaur Mann. Ramneet Kaur also bagged bronze medal in 100 Meter (W)
GADVASU contingent was lead by S. Manjit Singh Assistant Director Physical Education, S. Harjinder Singh,( Basket ball coach), Dr. P. N. Dwivedi and Dr. Sujata Turkar.
         Dr. S P S Sangha DSW of GADVASU congratulated the medal winner and participants and appreciated their efforts. Winning the medals out of 45, different participating university really matter for our students as they all are from science stream he added.

          Dr. V. K Taneja, Vice- Chancellor Appreciated and congratulated the winner and participants and said that sports person have really brought good name to our University.
