GADVASU cancels Youth Festival due to unfortunate demise of student

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana has cancelled the Youth Festival which was scheduled in the first week of January.The decision was taken due to sad demise of Mr Amanpreet Singh, a student of 4th year of B.V.Sc.& AH Programme.It was decided in the meeting of Director Students’ Welfare, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Presidents of Dance, Drama, Music Club and students’ representatives of different colleges that students and teachers are in the state of shock due to untimely and unfortunate death of Mr Amanpreet Singh.
A condolence meeting was held at College of Veterinary Science to pay homage to the departed soul.Dr V K Taneja, Vice-Chancellor along with teachers, employees and students pay their obeisance to Mr Amanpreet Singh by observing two minute silence.
