Dr. R. S. Sethi, Additional Director, Research, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, has been honoured with the esteemed title of fellow by The Indian society of veterinary immunology and biotechnology (ISVIB) in acknowledgment of his exceptional achievements and significant impact on the field of immunology and Biotechnology. ISVIB is a conglomerate organization of primarily veterinary scientists from microbiology, biotechnology, preventive medicine, parasitology, animal reproduction, fisheries and related disciplines with the objective of fostering the growth of veterinary immunology and biotechnology in the era of biological technology. The fellowship, one of the highest honours bestowed by the ISVIB, recognizes individuals who have made significant advancements in veterinary immunology and biotechnology. The honour was conferred during the ISVIB’s XXIX Annual Convention and National conference at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai.
Dr A K Arora, Director of Research, congratulated Dr Sethi and informed that Dr. Sethi has been instrumental in driving the university's research initiatives, spearheading several high-impact national and international projects, and securing grants that have significantly enhanced the institution’s research capacity. Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Vice Chancellor extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sethi, lauding him for his dedication and visionary approach to research.
