Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University launched the official webpage for the Veterinary Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF), registered as section 8 company of the university. The webpage (www.vliif.com) was inaugurated today by Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor in a ceremony held at the university’s campus. Dr Singh said that the VLIIF and the DST Nidhi-supported i-TBI Dairy Innovation and Incubation Centre were established with the vision of transforming the livestock and veterinary sectors through innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship. The i-TBI offers state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship to budding entrepreneurs, helping them transform innovative ideas into viable businesses. He informed that the launch of VLIIF webpage is a significant milestone in our journey towards supporting innovative ideas and start-ups in the livestock sector. The newly launched webpage will provide detailed information about ongoing projects, and upcoming events at the i-TBI. It will also feature success stories of incubated start-ups, guidelines for aspiring entrepreneurs, and resources for innovation and research. This digital platform aims to enhance the visibility of Vet Varsity’s initiatives and promote a culture of innovation within the region.
Dr. Singh expressed his gratitude towards the Punjab Government and all partners for their continuous support in this endeavour. He also encouraged students, researchers, and entrepreneurs to utilize the resources available through the VLIIF webpage to further their projects and contribute to the development of the sector.
