Students, faculty and staff of College of Dairy Science and Technology joined in to take a pledge for Quality Viskit Bharat under the Youth for Quality Bharat Mission’s (YQBM), which is part of the mega Quality Bharat Mission initiated by the Quality Council of India. Quality Bharat Mission aims to achieve quality in all facets of life to make Bharat Viksit. It exemplifies the understanding that sustained progress requires a commitment to achieving quality in all facets of life.
Dr. R S Sethi, Dean of the college apprised the students about the mission which focu
ses on empowering the youth of India, engaging them in the nation’s growth story, and encouraging a quality-conscious living. The campaign highlights the critical role of quality as a driving force for a nation’s development and progress. He also encouraged students to participate in various fun activities like poster making, essay writing, mascot designing etc. being conducted under the Rashtriya Gunvatta Pakhwada which started on the auspicious occasion of National Youth Day, January 12th, 2024 on the birth anniversary of the iconic youth leader Swami Vivekanand and concluding on 26th of January. Dr. Gopika Talwar, Associate Professor coordinated the event and informed that the pledge will encourage the students to strive for quality in all facets of life, to promote cleaner and greener Bharat and to embrace ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign to foster economic growth.
The event concluded with the National Anthem and on a note of empowerment and commitment towards a developed Bharat.
