A nine member contingent comprising students and faculty of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana
visited New Delhi for an interaction with Sh. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister as a part of G20 University Connect Finale programme at Bharat Mandapam. The programme was conducted to congratulate the participating Universities for successfully organising events under G20 University Connect in collaboration with Research and Information System for Developing Countries. A total of 3000 students and faculty from 101 Universities from all over India were invited to be a part of this programme.
Sh. Modi shared his vision for the youth and motivated them to make India a developed nation by 2047. He credited the successful conduct of 
the G20 Summit to the youthful energy of the nation.
He appreciated the Higher Educational Institutions for conducting several programmes across the country and making the G-20 University Connect initiative a grand success. While promoting 'Vocal for Local' he encouraged the youth to wear Khadi and promote the efforts of local artisans.
He asked the entire nation to be a part of 'Swachhta Hi Seva' Campaign on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. He encouraged to participate in the event “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath” on 1st October 2023.
Student representatives from four colleges of Vet Varsity along with Dr. Nitin Wakchaure, Dr. Sarabjeet Kaur & Dr. Nidhi Sharma was part of the delegation.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Uppal, Dean Postgraduate Studies and Nodal officer of G 20 event for Varsity congratulated the entire team for representing at national function.
