Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana conducted Inter 
college Badminton and Basketball tournaments for boys. A good number of players from the constituent colleges of the university took part in the tournaments. In Badminton, the team of College of Veterinary Science Ludhiana won the trophy while College of Dairy Science and technology and college of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul placed at second and third positions respectively. In Basketball college of Veterinary Science Ludhiana remained winner while college of Veterinary Science Rampura Phul and Khalsa college of Veterinary and animal sciences, Amritsar got the
second and third positions. Dr Satyavan Rampal Director Students' Welfare cum Estate Officer, Dr HS Banga Registrar, GADVASU and Dr. SPS Ghuman, Dean College of Veterinary Science Ludhiana honoured the position holders.
Dr Rampal said that students’ participation in different sports activities is very important for physical as well as mental health. He informed that GADVASU has developed different sports facilities and gymnasium under Institutional Development Plan for the well-being of the students
