International Veterinary Pathology Congress – 2020 organized by the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Nagpur Veterinary College, MAFSU, Nagpur. During the congress, students and faculty members actively participated and competed in different categories by presenting their research work. The research work of the department was highly appreciated and Dr. Syedah Asma Andrabi bagged young scientist award for her work on chicken infectious anemia, which was co-authored by Dr. Laltlankimi, Dr. Deepak Deka, Dr. Kuldip Gupta and Dr. Amarjit Singh. Dr. Monika Thakur got second best poster award for her research work on rabies. The paper was coauthored by Dr. Bhupinder Singh Sandhu, Dr. Kuldip Gupta, Dr. C. K Singh and Dr. N.K. Sood. Dr. Anamika Gupta got ICVP Appreciation Award for her research work on Mycobacterium. The paper was co-authored by Dr. Mohit Bansal, Dr. L. Geeta Devi, Dr. Deepti Narang, Dr. Kuldip Gupta, and Dr. Amarjit Singh.
Dr. Nittin Dev Singh, Associate professor of the department was bestowed with IAVP Dr B.L. Purohit Memorial Best Toxicologist Pathologist award. Dr Kuldip Gupta presented a lead paper on Cytopathology of Tumor in Animals and Dr L.Geeta Devi also presented paper on Cytological Diagnosis of Lymphoma in Dogs during the ICVP technical session.
Dr. Amarjit Singh, Professor Veterinary Patholgy, Vice President IAVP chaired the session on Young Scientist Award and also coordinated the whole day ICVP technical session during the congress. Dr. Bhupinder Singh Sandhu, Professor-cum-Head of the department appreciated the students and faculty members for their active participation during the congress. Dr. S. P. S. Ghuman, Dean, College of Veterinary Science congratulated the awardees and faculty for their splendid achievements.
