The services in the Surgery & Radiology Department at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) Ludhiana will remain suspended till further orders. Dr Parkash Singh Brar, Dean, College of Veterinary Science informed that facilities like X-ray, Ultrasound and small and large animal surgery will not be operational and remain suspended. While explaining the reason he revealed that a common relative of our two attendants of this department detected COVID-19 positive so we are careful to break the chain of virus transmission. Now these employees and other scientists of the department are in self-isolation. He said that we are dealing a large number of persons daily in our Veterinary Hospital so precautionary measures are imperative for the welfare of the community.
