Dr Nishchal Dutta, a PhD. scholar of the Department of Veterinary 
Pathology of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), secured the prestigious Bayer’s scholarship 2018 funded by Bayer, a German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company. He is doing his research work under Dr. H. S. Banga as Major Advisor.
The online applications were invited by the company from various educational institutes and selection was made on the basis of online test which was followed by personality test. The stringent selection exercise was made to recognize and appreciate meritorious students based on students who had scored first division in Class 10, 12, graduation and post-graduation. He will be awarded with Rs 50,000/- cash prize to pursue his Phd along with a certificate.
