Col BS Lakra Director (Logistics RV) on behalf of Headquarter Director General NCC New Delhi visited 1 Punjab R&V 
Sqn NCC Ludhiana Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. Col. Lakra reviewed and highly appreciated the wonderful work done by 1 Punjab R&V Sqn. He appreciated the unit team commanded under Lt Col Tushar Upasani. NCC unit has major achievements at National level in Republic day Camp 2016 and National horse riding competitions held there. The unit took up major initiatives for improving training infrastructure for RV NCC cadets of Punjab under aegis of PHHP & Chandigarh Directorate. Col. Lakra also visited Group HQ NCC Ludhiana and College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana to strengthen the coordination with educational institutions to encourage the youth to join Armed Forces for service of the nation.
