Guru Angad Dev and Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H), Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.). and B. Examinations revealed that a total of 2794 candidates applied for admission to these courses, of which 2685 (96%) candidates (1535 boys and 1150 girls) appeared in the entrance test in two centers at R.S. Model Senior Secondary School and B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana.
Deans and Directors of the Varsity had the first hand information about the arrangements for conduction of entrance test and visited both the centers. Dr. Sushil Prabhakar, Registrar informed that the First counselling for B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) is scheduled on July 20 whereas for B.V.Sc & A.H. and B.F.Sc is on July 21 at the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU. The test was conducted for 60 seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. 18 of B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) and 25 of B.Tech. (Dairy Sc.Technology). The CET-GADVASU result will be declared within 2-3 days and be available online at www.gadvasuadmissions.com.
