Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET – GADVASU) on 16th June, 2016 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc. and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology). The admissions to undergraduate programmes are to be made on the basis of CET. Dr. Sushil Prabhakar, Registrar GADVASU informed that a total of 2794 candidates with medical and non-medical background will compete for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc and to B. Tech. (Dairy Technology).
Dr. Narinder Singh Sharma, Controller of Examinations informed that GADVASU has started online admission from this year. The roll number/admit cards have to be downloaded from www.gadvasuadmissions.com, the admission portal/student dashboard. A total of 1522 candidates will appear in the CET-GADVASU at R.S. Model Sr. Sec. School, and the remaining at B.C.M. Arya Model Sr. Sec. School both at Shastri Nagar, Near Model Town, Ludhiana. Candidates are required to reach the designated examination centre as mentioned on the Admit Card at 9.00 am sharp on 16th June, 2016. All the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the CET-GADVASU have been completed.
Dr. AS. Nanda, Vice-Chancellor, has extended his best wishes to all the aspiring candidates going to appear in the CET-GADVASU. First counseling for admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) is scheduled on July 20 whereas for B.V.Sc & A.H. and B.F.Sc is on July 21 at the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU.
