Senior Division and senior wing Cadets of the 1 Punjab R&V Sqn, NCC GADVASU, Ludhiana to include SD/SW Cadets from College of Veterinary Sciences , PAU School and other colleges participated in the tree plantation program at the unit HQ . About 100 saplings of various varieties were planted during this program. Dr Kulbir Singh Sandhu, Director Students Welfare GADVASU was the Chief Guest. Maj MMMadhusudan, OC 1 Pb R&V SQN NCC, Lt RS Sethi & Dr SS Sodhi were the officials from 1 Pb R & V to conduct the program they described that a tree plantation drive throughout Ludhiana was being conducted under the aegis of NCC Gp HQ Ludhiana on 9th 10th and 11th of Aug 2010. Officials of 1 Punjab R & V Sqn NCC also said that “A social activity to wards global cause was the spirit of the cadets”. Dr SNS Randhawa, Dean Post Graduate Studies and Dr PD Juyal Registrar, GADVASU, were amongst the other dignitaries invited during the function.
