VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited for Two posts of Office Assistant (On Contract) in the project entitled "Institutional Development Plan (IDP) for Improved Learning Outcome,  Skill and Entrepreneurship at GADVASU"

Qualifications; -

1. Essential

1. Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum of 50% marks.
2. First class (60%) in Graduate degree in Commerce Stream or Mathematics as a main subject from recognized university.
3. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level.

2. Desirable

1. Master's degree in Commerce stream or Mathematics as a main subject from recognized university.
2. Experience in handling accounts/finance/ office matter in Central govt/ State Govt/ PSUs/ Autonomous bodies/ private organizations of repute.

Job Responsibility

• Prepare budget/ Utilization certificate of the project
• Timely reconciliation of accounts and submission of financial progress report as prescribed under rules.
• Prepare and maintain the contingent registers, cash book, stock registers of the project
• Attend/Visit institutes for meetings related to the project outside the HQ (including Stay)
• Any other duty assigned from time to time

Age

Candidate should not be more than 35 years (on the last date to apply for the above said post i.e 28/07/2020) which is relaxable up to five years for SC/ST candidates.

Emoluments

Fixed Rs.20,323/- per month (with statutory deductions)

Conditions: The post is purely temporary on six month basis; further extension will be     subject to satisfactory progress of the candidate. However, the service of incumbent is liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice.The incumbent will have no right what-so-ever for absorption in the regular university service.

The last date for the receipt of applications (bio-data with one recent photograph and attested photocopies of all the supporting documents/including educational qualifications, awards, higher degree, experience etc) in the office of the undersigned is 28/07/2020 up to 11.00 AM.

The candidate should appear for verification of documents on 30/07/2020 at 10.00AM in the committee room of the undersigned. The candidates must bring original documents for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.

Further, the candidates are advised to visit the university website regularly as any update regarding this notice shall be uploaded only on the website and no separate intimation shall be sent.
